What does data collection from customer portals mean?

Data collection from utility providers inventories your metering points and collects associated metering values. When created, it verifies your login credentials, then retrieves a list of your metering points and their values. At scheduled intervals, it re-checks for new metering points and updated values. New metering points appear in the Inbox; terminated metering points are marked as terminated.

What data is collected?

In general, the following is collected:

  • Monthly values for energy consumption (electricity, district heating, gas)
  • Monthly values for flow (district heating, water, gas)

Exactly what is available depends on the utility provider’s customer portal. You can also supplement collection with file-based imports, and hourly values are available for most energy types. Read more here .
