Meter states: Active, Temporary, and Trash
Active meters
Active meters is the list of all metering points you have activated. Metering values are available in the customer portal and via the API for metering points in Active meters.
You can move a metering point to Active meters from the Inbox or Trash at any time. Metry bills monthly, in arrears, based on the number of metering points that were active at any time during the previous month.
Temporary meters
Use this folder for metering points that do not belong to your permanent portfolio, such as vacancy subscriptions or construction electricity. Temporary meters are only visible in the Metry portal and are not forwarded to third-party services. You pay the same price as for active metering points.
Use the Add reminder feature to receive an email on a selected date — for example, a prompt to check that a subscription has been taken over by a tenant.
Trash
Move metering points you are not collecting data for to the Trash. You can reactivate them at any time. Metry does not sync data for metering points in the Trash, and they are not covered by your SLA or included in the monthly collection report.
Metering points from utility providers remain in the Trash for as long as they exist on your customer account with the utility provider. Sub-meters and manually read meters remain available to reactivate for as long as you have your Metry account.
