Letters of authority and other required documents

To collect metering values via file (monthly values and hourly values) for your active metering points, you need to upload a signed letter of authority granting Metry the right to collect energy data on your behalf.

1. First download the letter of authority template (see link below)
2. Fill in your organization details and have the company’s authorized signatory sign it.
3. Scan the signed copy and upload it in PDF format to the Metry customer portal, or send it to support.

Other documents that are sometimes requested include subsidiary lists and certificates of registration. E.ON requires a certificate of registration. These can also be uploaded to Metry or sent to support.
