To collect utility data, we need your login credentials to your utility companies. Once you've provided us with your credentials, we take care of the rest.
If, for any reason, the login credential changes, we need to be informed to continue collecting values. Why you, or the utility companies, change your login information to My pages, varies. For example:
- You forgot your login and ordered new credentials
- You hire new personnel and need to update your login credentials
- Safety reasons
- The utility companies update their login pages, thus changing the login details
Why does Metry need your login information?
Utility data can be accumulated into Metry in two ways – through file imports, or directly from My pages from the utility companies' websites. Collecting directly from My Pages is the most common way to manage metering values, and sometimes we use a combination of these two methods to ensure redundant data collection.
