Metry can continuously export all meter consumption data from for a user to another system via for example FTP, HTTP or email. An export can be set up either by contacting us at support@metry.io or via our API.
It is common that existing energy management systems already have good support for receiving and processing files with data of different formats. In this case, it can be easier, cheaper and faster to integrate with Metry by importing files with the meter and consumption data.
Files can be sent hourly, daily or monthly. Files will only contain data that have been added to Metry since the last time the export was run. This means that if there is no new data to export, it will not send new files. If the target system is unable to receive the data, we will automatically try again later without any data loss.
Supported targets
Files can be sent to various target systems.
- FTP and SFTP servers
- HTTP server
- AWS S3 bucket
- Azure Blob Storage
Supported file formats
There is an existing CSV file format that can be used. Read more about this format here.
If the target system requires a specific file format, then Metry can adapt to that format so that there will be no required changes in the target system to start receiving data from Metry. Contact us at support@metry.io for more information and pricing.
