Example data is a good way to get started with Metry as a developer. We have put together a set of example data that covers most real life scenarios in terms of data granularity and availability.
Demo account
To access example data you need a Developer-account and a Demo account. You will get this as a part of signing up as a Metry developer partner. Your demo account appears in the User menu:
The demo account is just like a normal account on Metry, but instead of real data sources you will only see demo data sources. When created, the demo account has no data - so you need to create (demo) data sources just as if you were a real estate user. This allows you to get a deeper understand about how data collection at Metry works.
Example Data
Select your demo account and create a new Utility Robot at the Collection menu item. Below is a table with names of demo Utility Providers that you can add. These data sources will create some dummy-data for you
Once you have created a demo data source, Metry will start to create meters and generate example data. To see the meters, go to Meters and select the Inbox. The Inbox shows all new meters found at the data source.
To access the data - via the user portal as well as via the API - the meters must be activated.

You can also add Sub meter robots to create meters with readings. Create them if you wish to learn more about how Metry blocks meters with incorrect readings and how that is exposed via the API.
