Connecting Sub-Meters to Metry

There are currently three different ways to connect sub-meters/DUCs to Metry. On our Integrations page you can see how your specific meter type can be connected. If you have meters from other suppliers, you are welcome to contact us and we will arrange data collection from those as well.

• Connection via the meter’s web interface. Some meters/DUCs have a web interface where you can log in and start sending data to Metry. This is done by clicking the “Connect to Metry” button in the device settings and entering your Metry credentials.
• Direct connection from the Metry customer portal. For this type of connection, the meter must be accessible from the Internet. Once you have entered the meter’s IP address and login credentials, Metry’s robots log in periodically and collect the metering values.
• Manual connection. Some meter suppliers have different settings per customer installation. For these meters, Metry needs to contact the supplier or installer to obtain the information required for the connection. These meter types can also be connected from the Metry customer portal, but you will be contacted by your account manager at Metry to complete the connection.
